Academic Boosters are foundational courses in the subject areas of Reading, Writing, and Math at all levels of K-G12 students. Courses are designed to build a solid foundation for the students, adopting a step-by-step approach. It is delivered in a small group format with customized lessons taken from our planned curriculum pre-designed to meet the requirements set according to the state standards. Starting in June of 2011, we also integrate the Stanford EPGY K-G8 curriculum into this program. It offeres multimedia instruction and automated assessment of student progress. These features will bring students’ success to another level by boosting students’ confidence and thus enthuseism in life-long learning. Progress will be more efficiently monitored and thus better communicated to parents. A placement test is given to new students to ensure that they are a match for the group that they plan to enroll. Since teaching is conducted in a small environment with only up to 3 students in each group, there is plenty of room for individual attention. This is a great choice and a very affordable option for those who are looking for well-rounded enrichment in the subject area. Booster sessions are available during the school year and summer.
